The 1941 Mercury Dime, transformed into an act of memory.

The 1941 Mercury Dime carries a date with deep American resonance. The coin belongs to the Winged Liberty Head dime series, better known to collectors as the Mercury Dime, with Liberty shown wearing a winged cap to symbolize freedom of thought.

In Liberty Remembers, that classic numismatic design becomes a quiet Memorial Day tribute: a small coin transformed into a large-format act of remembrance.

Collector detail: the 1941 mintmark

1941 Mercury Dimes were struck at Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco. Philadelphia examples carry no mintmark, while Denver and San Francisco examples carry a small D or S on the reverse, positioned to the left of the fasces near the lower rim.

SE note: “SE” identifies this artwork as a Special Edition release from The Mint Mark. It is not an official U.S. Mint designation, and this product is artwork, not a physical coin.
