I wanted this piece to feel like a memory surfacing through morning fog. The Mayflower and the Pilgrim figures are intentionally quiet — echoes, not spectacle. The couple represents the living generation, standing at the edge of the same story and deciding what kind of inheritance they will carry forward. The goal was an America 250 artwork a person could live with: reflective, historical, dignified.
