The composition layers torn paper, Broad Street signage, NYSE architecture, dealer notes, vault tags, market scraps, and silver-market typography into a gritty urban collage. At the center, the 1897 Morgan Dollar remains the anchor: recognizable, historic, and charged with the tension between silver, speculation, collecting, and American finance.

The Morgan Dollar lived through America’s wildest financial decades, so I set the 1897 down inside that world — ticker tape, auction scraps, Broad Street, the noise of the market. It’s the grittier, more modern end of the series: the coin as a relic dug out of American finance itself.
